I just came across your email in my box SORRY for taking "soh" long to respond. I am glad that you have a blog and love this image of yours. I thought that I might see some of your aluminium saline etch prints on here (?) although I have not looked in detail yet. It's amazing how small you make the text. Does it make it easier to upload -- you mention that you are on a land line which I presume means you don't have broadband and perhaps it's more of an ordeal uploading to the blog and so forth.
Hope to stay in touch. Today I have been working on pre-rocked mezzotint plates in preparation for the 7th mini-print exhibition. (organized by the printmakers council) I will be so disappointed if I don't get at least one of the three I am submitting "in".
I mean it is such a small size to work on and my eyesight is not the greatest plus I like to have some empty space in my images.
Scattered, resourceful, self-supporting by-product of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Being an artist is a condition with which I've learned to live. It is terminal.

Very cool. But the phrase "printed from scrap aluminum flashing" really intriques me. There HAS to be a story there.
