12"x12" canvas number 1

Last year, after painting two 8"x8" canvases as my donation to SGAAC
My hope was to keep painting,
but worries of income ruled out any kind of experiments with unknown artings.
Painting is a form of arting which has always been a battle for me,
more along the lines of war....
with weapons of hair tipped long sticks,
I fight thick colors on a canvas battlefield.
THIS year, however, I am GOING to work my way through ten 12"x12" canvases
and hopefully discover if in fact this years donation was just another lucky fluke, or maybe I'm onto something here.

Oil Painting Donation to Spring Green Area Arts Coalition

I painted  two  last year for the Spring Green Area Arts Coalition Creative Canvases.
This one can be owned by purchasing a $30.00 gift certificate.
I got sidetracked by other arting, and didn't get back to painting again until yesterday.
This year they didn't want the second canvas from me,
but I painted it anyway.

This is about where I was when I did the whiteline woodblock, Mill Creek at Coon Rock Road.....where the LongHorns Weren't
Interesting, huh?
