Original book on the left......which has original work inside.
2nd edition on the right........
which has color copy enhanced by me, because I wanted it to feel like the original.

THESE are Informative Postcards
that accidentally became a book.
So far, there is only this one "book".

Rocket Barrette

It will be secured to a French made barrette mechanism.
It is 4" end to end.
It is hand chased/repoussed aluminum.
It is signed and dated.
It is one of a kind.
It is really wonderful!
I wish I had long hair.

Sterling Baby Spoon

When it is no longer in use,
as eventually babies get larger,
and need larger spoons,
this sterling fellow will be able to rest on the wall
in it's own hanger,
while it waits for the next baby.

This will be seen in person
and for sale

Bee Bracelets and a Cat Spoon

I'm starting to show a little of what I do
The Bee Bracelets were in the April Issue.

In the May issue,
the Cat Spoon #1 was shown:
The cat is copper.
It is 4 1/8" long,
1 7/8" wide at the bowl,
and just short of an inch deep.
It measures 1 tablespoon of water.
Most all my chasing is one-of-a-kind.
My work does not translate well as molded castings,
unless I specifically aim for that result.
I'm also making unique wall mounted holders for these things,
so they can show off,
and not be lost in a kitchen equipment drawer.

Personal Filters

I made me a set of personal filters.
Residing close to my ears,
they will listen and hear
whatever comes off the radio,
out of speakers, out of mouths,
hearing everything within earshot
in all my surroundings.
They will hear it all.
Absorbing all,
before any of it has a chance to reach MY ears.
They will filter out all bad,
all lies,
and all disturbing noise.
I suppose that's why they have already disturbed expressions.
Better on their faces than mine.

I've been wearing them now for a good half a day,
and I have to say, I think they work!

Jane Wilcoxson Studio features Linda Kelen

In addition to
a fine set of my wood prints,
and a selection of my chased/repoussed metals,

the following three paintings will be at the
Jane Wilcoxson Studio,
in Mineral Point,
December 5th for Mineral Point's Gallery Night
through December 23rd.
8"x8", oil on linen, Peach Tree
8"x8", oil,  WearyTraveler
8"x8", oil, Monkey
I forgot to take a picture of these new ones
when they were completed this morning.
Now there are seven all signed, dated and numbered.
I've got to remember to take photos before they go out the door!
Here's the best my cell phone could do of 6 of the 7 in the gallery.

Framed White-Line Print

I'm back to making my own frames.
This is of Red Oak, which grows here in Southwest Wisconsin
measuring 11.75" wide, 15.75" high, and is .75" thick.
That's the second print off the Patron Saint of Shrews woodblock,
printed on handmade Japanese Gampi paper.

I'll get exacts and post them later on...
I'll tell it's story later...
right now I'm just wanting to get it up to keep going with a conversation.
more later..
